This is a sophisticated site and is very 1st team results focussed. Looking at the calendar section there is no mention of the players dinner, just 3 days away.Web sites need to be up to date to make them really work.

Great job Bromsgrove from a past player the other side of the pond. It was great to see the win. Great up to date web site.

Congratulations from an envious Malvern!! Last minute Birch does it again - shades of last season! We now hope Derby win the play-off to get you both out of the way so we can echo your feat and join you in 2005/6!

Just got back from the cardiac unit after yesterday's game at Derby. Talk about keep the spectators on their toes to the wire!
Our President looked like he'd completed the London Marathon a day early! Great day out, especially as we won. Congratulations to everyone at BRFC. Here's to next season!!

bromsgrove deserve to be promoted and i hope we give derby a kick in but if we lose to derby then we have still got the play off with the runner up of the eastern divison.

Whilst I sympathise with some of Webmasters comments re your withdrawal from the North Mids Cup, especially the competition being devalued, Whitchurch honoured their fixture (and lost), Luctonians did the same two years ago as did Malvern v Droitwich, all when faced with fielding understrength sides. I have to say that most of the clubs in the North Mids see your withdrawal as a cynical act - and repetition of two years ago - to ensure you are able to put out a full strength and injury-free league side as you try to win the Championship outright. We all want to see a strong North Midlands presence in Mids One, but, lads, your reputation on the circuit is fast diminishing.
Having said all that, Malvern will do their best against Derby to ensure your last fixture is as "spiced up" as possible!

Webmaster Comments: Peter,
The simple truth is that the date which was chosen (27th March) had been 'spare' up till two weeks beforehand. As a result players were un-available and the reason we were unable to play that day was because we couldn't comply with the competition rules i.e. 5 registered front row forwards in the squad. Also, we didn't withdraw, we requested a date change, which was refused. Sadly, as a consequence of inflexibility by all parties the competition has been cancelled this season therefore no representation in the Senior Cup next season, THAT is what's bad about the whole affair.
