Good to see the 1st's off to a winning start against Barkers Butts, even if Birchy didn't have his kicking boots on. Any chance of match reports and results for all the teams being placed on the website.
I look forward to seeing how we get on throughout the season.

Looking for ExPlayers
I'm am currently trying to find old players for a feature on a supporters web site. While trying to track down Matt Birch and Dave Wilkinson I saw that a few years ago they joined Bromsgrove.
I saw on your news site something about Matt Birch but I was wondering if Dave Wilkinson was still with you?
Many thanks for any help you can offer.

Lads well done for sticking it up the Old Laurentians, because we haven't had the best of seasons and they have been flying we have been getting some stick , it was great to see you beat them , i would rather finish mid table , than fall flat on there faces like the OL's did they lost to you and then lost the play offs and won just about nothing , it was great to see it happen , thanks for your efforts beers are waiting on the bar when you come back down to play the Bold .

I was disappointed to see that Jethro has been plaguing your Visitor's Book as well. Can I just say that he in no way reflects the attitudes and opinions of Malvern RFC. As we have said on our own site, anyone who hasn't got the guts to publish their comments under their own name isn't worth a toss anyway!
Well done on your promotion. We look forward to seeing you again next season. Your club will make a welcome replacement for the universally loathed Wyesiders! Thanks for the Cup - even if we would have rather done it the hard way! See you next season.

Webmaster Comments: Thanks Peter for the comments. We knew deep down that Jethro was not representative of your club and treated his comments with the contempt they deserved.

Sorry to bother you, we are trying to contact a friend from the RAF. Paul Wood who came from Bromsgrove. He was born in 1947 0r 1948 and attended Parkside Secondary Modern.

He joined the RAF in September 1964 (the same time as me) RAF Cosford. If you know him or any of his family that I could contact please let me know. If you know of a local radio station or paper that does a ãwhere are they nowä bit we would be grateful to hear about that too. We've done lots of 'web searches' and are now trying local radio stations, papers, organizations and churches hoping that we can find him this way.

We are planning a re union and would like him to be there. Even if he would prefer not to be contacted at least if we knew that we could stop looking and not bother him again.

Thank you,

Haydn Prosser

Well I guess you feel's happy with yourselves now. Mind you if it weren't for them Newport boys giving you a few points then things might have been different.
Still, I be raising a glass to your quick demise in Midlands 1, cus I and others think that you got there the easy way. Well that's what Old L's supporters and I was saying Finstall Rd last Saturday.
Bye Bye my loves!

Webmaster Comments: Jethro obviously doesn't understand the finer points of points difference and points for, or he would have realised that the Newport result had no bearing on the final outcome.

Congratulations on Saturdays result and the Championship.
Good luck next season and if you don't get relegated (which of course you won't)you may get the chance to visit the best Clubhouse in the Midlands.
Well done on a great season
